FOR HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS
We accept groups of 2-5 students (from high school or undergrads). We actively encourage groups with students from different ages and background.

IMPROVE ONLINE EDUCATION
DEC 5-23
Problem
Many students are frustrated by online education, which may be inefficient and boring. Teachers and professors claim students are less engaged online. No one is satisfied.
The Challenge
Create strategies on how to improve engagement and student satisfaction with online classes. Your goal is to either build a prototype with your ideas or present your suggestions on a demo day.
Why participate?
Learn how entrepreneurship really works and acquire skills such as problem solving, storytelling, pitching and product development.
Requirements
Familiarity or interest in entrepreneurship.
2-5 students per group.
Commitment
5 hours of lectures with entrepreneurs, investors and academics (check agenda). Mentorship and support from Innovalab and guests will be provided during the challenge.
Reward
Winner will be able to implement their prototype in a real school and measure the results.

DEALING WITH A DIFFICULT BOSS
JAN 12-23
Problem
A difficult or a bad boss may slowdown or break your career. Schools don't teach students how to deal with real life situations.
The Challenge
Your group will be presented with three types of bosses in real life situations. Your goal is to develop strategies for dealing with all of them. The most efficient and harmless strategies win.
Why participate?
Learn while you're a student on how to deal with this situation in a safe environment.
Requirements
Students from all backgrounds are accepted.
2-5 students per group.
Commitment
3 hours of lectures with executives, psychologists and organizational consultants (check agenda). Mentorship and support from Innovalab and guests will be provided during the challenge.
Reward
You will be ready to recognize a bad situation and deal with it before it happens and consume your academic or professional life.

AUTOMATE CLASSROOMS
FEV 22 - MAR 27
Problem
Teachers/professors and schools lose precious time on menial tasks such as attendance sheets, placing students into groups, disciplining the class and enforcing classroom work.
The Challenge
Automate these tasks using current hardware and software (IoT equipment, AI, software, etc) in a way that students can reap benefits of extra teaching or mentorship time.
Why participate?
You'll be able to create a real solution and learn many important technical, product and business skills during the process.
Requirements
Familiarity or interest in the latest tech (computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, sensors, cameras, etc). At least one group member should have machine learning skills.
2-5 students per group.
Commitment
8 hours of lectures with executives, computer vision and IoT experts, (check agenda). Mentorship and support from Innovalab and guests will be provided during the challenge.
Reward
Incubation of your idea at a software engineering company.
Submit application by: JAN 23.
Interviews: JAN 25-29.
